A long time ago...

Once, long ago, I would have thought this was pretty damn funny. But now, thanks to those frelling prequels, I'm so damn sick of Star Wars that I don't care if I never see another lightsaber again.

How sad is that?

Fuck Star Wars! I'm watching Doctor Who instead. Unlike Star Wars, he wasn't ruined when he returned from a 15 year hiatus.

The 60's finally got here.

When my family first moved to Odessa in the mid 70's my parents noticed that the 60's had not got here yet. "Great!" they said. "We'll get to do the 60's all over again." And then they waited,
and waited,
and waited.

Finally on April 8, 2006 the 60's arrived in Odessa, Texas. This past Saturday my parents and I participated in the first organized political march ever in the history of Odessa. The march was in support of immigration rights and in protest of House Bill 4437.
