Tonight I went to a book signing by the popular fantasy humorist, Terry Pratchett. When I got to the front of the line Mr. Pratchett spotted the Galaxy Quest patch on my jacket. He saluted me with a fist to his chest and cried out, "Never give up!" it took me a nanosecond to figure out what the hell he was talking about; then I saluted him back and answered, "Never surrender!" Isn't it great when your favorite celebs turn out to be as big of a geek as you are?
